Day 2: Convergence

 "Art is never finished, only abandoned." -Leonardo da Vinci

Today I dedicate my arts practice to returning to a field I used to offer more of myself to. I once loved to paint, now I very rarely pick up a brush. As motivation for the process I have chosen to use an old guitar as a canvas for the reproduction of a painting I adorned as a child, "The Great Wave Off Kanagawa." 

I see this as a convergence of my passions; to breathe new life into the tired guitar, and to the affections of my youth.
